Don’t perfect one forecast. Make better decisions across many futures.

I’m Janene Worthington, Vice President of Product Management for AI Infrastructure at Oracle. A transformer ordered today arrives in three years, and the demand it serves can swing almost 2x before then. I build the decision systems that let capacity owners commit in stages, keep options open where being wrong is costly, and get live, revenue-generating capacity online sooner.

How I approach the work

Take an ambiguous customer problem, form a clear hypothesis, back it with strong data, and build the mechanism so the decision scales.

The problem I solve

Revenue starts when the whole chain lands.

A purchase order isn’t revenue, and neither is a finished building. Capacity earns money only when every dependency below comes together on site. My work is making that chain visible early enough to act on it.

Land & power

Sites and megawatts committed years ahead of the demand they serve.

Long-lead equipment

Servers, network, and electrical gear planned against the full bill of materials.

Materials & logistics

Site material readiness, warehousing, and network delivery tracked to the rack.

Labor & commissioning

Field teams with the knowledge they need, when they need it.

Live capacity

Customers running workloads. This is the only point where revenue begins.

Each link commits capital on a different horizon: power and transformers three to five years out, accelerators and network six to twelve months. A single-point forecast hides the risk in every one of them. I measure success by risk-adjusted, revenue-generating capacity delivered per dollar of capital.

Selected work

Systems that shortened the path from demand to revenue.

Oracle · AI planning & simulation

From one forecast to scenario simulation

A customer asked for ten times their capacity, and we had no supply model to answer with. Planning ran on a single forecast that took two weeks to rebuild. I set the vision and roadmap for an AI-driven capacity platform that plans and simulates scenarios instead.

The call: Stop arguing over one number. Frame every commitment as worst, most likely, and best case, and make scenarios fast enough to run in the meeting where the decision gets made.

Planning cycle 14 days → 30 minutes

What I learned: The simulator answers “what if,” but not “how likely, and what does it cost if we’re wrong?” Closing that gap is the work I’m most excited about next.

Oracle Cloud · Demand planning

“One Door” for demand

Demand arrived through many channels, and planners spent every week merging spreadsheets by hand before anyone could plan. I automated enterprise demand planning and launched the One Door platform.

The call: Give demand one way in. Every request now enters the same front door, so planners spend their time on decisions, not on reconciling inputs.

Server warehousing program

Racking servers before a customer can use them burns depreciation on capacity that earns nothing. Waiting until demand lands means long lead times. I established Oracle’s server warehousing program to get between those two failure modes.

The call: Hold servers staged and ready, close to where they’ll be needed. Commit them to a site when the demand is real, not when the order is placed.

Oracle · Deployment workflow

Equipment onboarding and ordering

Modernized onboarding for data center infrastructure equipment and automated the supply chain workflow behind infrastructure orders. This work is part of the unified demand-to-revenue platform I lead, which joins forecasting, procurement, inventory, deployment, and financial governance.

Let’s talk about capacity that ships on time.

I’m interested in roles where I own the hardest planning and product problems in AI infrastructure: turning uncertain demand into committed, deployed capacity faster, with less stranded capital.
